About ItchyClips
ItchyClips was founded in 2010 for artists to sell & buy the building blocks of music for live performances and studio productions, aka Scratchpacks.
Company founders Stewart Walker and Michel Morin are producers and performers with more than 10 years in the business of writing, recording, and performing live electronic music.
Stewart Walker began his career with 12" vinyl releases on underground Detroit techno labels before expanding to labels based in the UK, Europe, Japan, and South America (including Tresor, Mille Plateaux, and Minus).
In 2001, Stewart created Persona Records to release his own and others' music in Boston, Massachusetts before moving everything to Berlin, Germany in 2003.
In addition to production, Stewart became well known in techno clubs from San Francisco to Tokyo as an outspoken and innovative live performer whether using hardware-samplers and sequencers or Ableton Live.
Michel Morin has been developing large websites non-stop for governments and non-profit organizations since 1995. His expertise is in human-interface development, information architecture, e-commerce and back-end programming.
Michel has applied many of these same skills when designing and building his own hardware synthesizers and sequencers - machines which he's used to perform live around the world for over 12 years.
Producing and performing under the names Sneak-Thief and Polygamy Boys, Michel has eighteen 12" vinyl releases on various labels such as GoodLife, Bunker, Klakson, Creme Organization and Lasergun.
